Dancing is fun first, healthy second. The aerobic exercise strengthens your heart, arms, and leg muscles, and builds balance and coordination. A 30-minute dance class burns around 200 calories, about the same as jogging.

Central Virginia Ballet’s Academic Program is a 40-week, 4-session, professional ballet program for youths 3 to 18 years. CVB’s primary focus is the professional training of ballet technique and artistry from pre-ballet to pre-professional.

Dancing with Lynchburg since 1939, Seven Hills Dance Studio has taught hundreds of students how to point, shuffle, pirouette, and leap, all with style and grace, and of course, all while having fun! They offer a variety of dance class choices for ages 3 – 18 as well as select master classes, workshops, and summer intensives. Classes follow a comprehensive program from September – May each year culminating in a spring recital giving students the opportunity to perform in a professional grade production.
